The Legal and Media Committees meeting to discussed and studies the draft media law referred by the government.

During the meeting, the committees discussed the media law draft, reviewing its articles and highlighting those they agreed upon after discussion and research.

 They also explained and elaborated on disputed articles, aiming to refine and organize the project to serve Oman's media interests and adapt to changes, ensuring necessary flexibility. 

The Media Committee hosted various meetings, engaging relevant authorities and stakeholders and examining similar laws from other countries.

 The meeting  attended by H.E Dr. Ahmed Ali Al-Saadi, head of the Legal Committee, and H.E Abdullah Hamad Al-Harthy, head of the Media Committee, and in the presence of their Excellencies members of the Committee.
