His Excellency Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, received today (Wednesday) at the Council headquarters His Excellency Mohammed Maktoum Rashid Al Maktoum, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.
The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Ahmed Mohammed Al Nadhabi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council.

At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency the Chairman welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in his new duties, highlighting the deep fraternal ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates. The meeting discussed means of enhancing bilateral cooperation at the legislative level between the two countries’ representative bodies, in addition to exchanging cordial views on areas of common cooperation and prospects for their development.
For his part, the UAE Ambassador expressed his eagerness to strengthen the existing bilateral relations and expand joint cooperation in all fields in the interest of both brotherly nations.
