H.E. Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, received today (Tuesday) H.E. Yasser Mohamed Ahmed Shaaban, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate of Oman, as part of the solid relations that bind the two brotherly countries.

H.E. the Chairman welcomed the Ambassador, highlighting the deep historical ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the continuous progress in their relations reflecting the commitment of both leaderships to strengthening coordination across various fields, particularly in parliamentary and legislative areas.
H.E. the Egyptian Ambassador expressed his pride in the fraternal relations between the two countries, noting Egypt’s aspiration to further develop joint cooperation and open new avenues for parliamentary, economic, and cultural coordination.
The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed ways to enhance future cooperation in a manner that serves shared interests and supports Omani Egyptian relations across various sectors.
