H.E. Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, received today (Tuesday) H.E. Hratchya Poladian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Sultanate of Oman, in a meeting aimed at strengthening avenues of cooperation between the two friendly nations.

H.E. the Chairman welcomed the Ambassador, affirming Oman’s appreciation for Omani-Armenian relations and the progress witnessed in cooperation across various fields, particularly in the parliamentary and cultural spheres. He also stressed the importance of continued communication and the exchange of expertise between the legislative bodies of both countries in a manner that supports shared regional and international efforts.
H.E. the Armenian Ambassador underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation, noting the constructive role played by the Sultanate in supporting dialogue and international partnership.
The two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, in addition to exploring future areas of cooperation in ways that serve the mutual interests of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Armenia.
