Chairman of the Shura Council Receives Palestinian Ambassador

On Wednesday, His Excellency Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the Shura Council, welcomed H.E. Dr. Taysir Ali Farhat, the Ambassador of Palestine to Oman. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman extended a warm welcome to the Ambassador, after which they discussed the ongoing conflict in Gaza, focusing on regional and international efforts aimed at securing a permanent ceasefire, delivering humanitarian aid to civilians, and restoring normalcy for the people of Gaza.

The Palestinian Ambassador expressed his profound appreciation for Oman’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the solidarity shown by the government, the Omani people, and especially the Shura Council through diplomatic forums and participation in international parliamentary conferences.
