Parliamentary Training Centre at Oman Council organized a training program for a number of Shura Council on the  Institutional Excellence Using the European Quality Model," which will run for five days from October 12 to 17. This initiative is part of the council's efforts to develop and enhance the performance of its employees.

The training program, aimed at achieving excellence within the institution, includes several key components, such as the fundamental concepts of the European Quality Model, mechanisms for building development and institutional evaluation teams, as well as discussions on administrative and organizational planning and how to establish developmental and strategic plans. Additionally, it features a special focus on the five enablers of excellence and introduces various methodologies, including the RADAR methodology.


The council, represented by the Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs, organized another training program titled "Effective Time Management." This program highlighted the importance of time management in institutions, the significance of goal setting in managing time, and included sessions on SMART objectives, time analysis techniques, and identifying value-added activities. It also emphasized the importance of daily planning and its tools, along with various matrices and techniques related to time management.

The aim of this program is to prepare a daily plan that assists in achieving goals more efficiently, while also seeking to increase productivity and improve work quality, thereby contributing to the realization of the institution's strategic objectives.
