Shura Council elects the Bureau members.

The Shura Council held its first Ordinary Sitting of the first Annual Sitting (2023-2024) from the tenth Term of the Council (2023-2027), headed by the chairman H.E. Khaled Hilal Al-Awali, in the presence of the Council members and H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Al Nadabi, Secretary-General of the Council.

The Shura Council began its first regular sitting with the election of the six members to serve on the Shura Bureau. 

The Chairman of the Council announced that all 6 of the Shura Bureau would be open once to those wishing to run, through the electronic system prepared for that purpose, and 

The elected Shura Bureau of (21) members, after which the candidates are given the opportunity to identify themselves in a period not exceeding three minutes (3D) for each candidate, and then vote and leave the Chamber.
The members of the Shura Council were elected by secret e voting during the meeting.


 The results of the voting process will comprise the following members: 

Ahmed Nasser al Abri (representative of the Wilayat of Nizwa), Mohammed Hasan al Ansi (representative of the Wilayat of Salalah), Salim bin Hamad al Mahrouqi (representative of the Wilayat of Adam),  Said Mohammed al Saedi (representative of the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali), Ali bin Mansour al Amri (representative of the Wilayat of Al Seeb) and Omar bin Ali al Jaunaibi (representative of the Wilayat of Bahla).
