The Shura Council Bureau reviewed a number of topics on its agenda, including a review of the response of His Excellency the Engineer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Environmental Service Holding Company S.A.O.C (be'ah)to the question about recycling of construction and demolition waste in the Sultanate.

 The response included a summary of the measures taken with respect to the construction and demolition waste, which will be conducted through the implementation of sustainable solutions to be deployed and the creation of adequate treatment facilities throughout the Sultanate to receive, sort and process the waste and convert it into value added products such as gravel and sand according to quality standards to be utilized in Civil and Industrial Construction. The Bureau decided to include the response on the agenda of the next session of the Council. A number of responses from the ministers and the letters of the Standing Committees of the Council were also reviewed. 
In the external affairs, the meeting reviewed several memos and letters of the foreign organizations including the report of the delegation participating in the 138th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the sideline meetings during the period from 24 to 28, March 2018. They also discussed the report of the delegation participating in the second meeting of the GCC Parliamentary Committee on enhancing relations with European Parliament in addition to the visit to the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait during the period (29-30 April 2018).
