The Health Committee hosted a number of owners of private health institutions in the Sultanate of Oman,
to discuss on the conditions of these institutions and the most prominent challenges facing the private health sector and to discuss the possibility of providing solutions and proposals to reduce those challenges.

The Committee discussions place regarding the issue of Omanisation in the sector and the qualification of national cadres in it. 
The meeting also touched on the issue of foreign investment in the health sector in the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to the importance of granting the necessary facilities by the concerned authorities in bringing in expatriate labor and training, especially during emergency crises.
 

This discussion came as part of the Five meeting of the Committee for the first Annual Session (2023-2027) of the Tenth Term, chaired by H.E. Mansour Zahir Al-Hajri Head of the Committee and in the presence of their Excellencies members of the committee.
