His Excellency Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, today (Monday) received at the Council headquarters His Excellency Oleg Levin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Chairman welcomed the Ambassador and commended the strong bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation, stressing the importance of further strengthening and developing them across various fields to serve the common interests of both peoples.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the distinguished level of relations between the two countries and their positive role in opening broader prospects for cooperation in all areas.
