H.E. Dr. Khamis Saif Hammoud al-Jabri, Chairman of the Oman Vision 2040 implementation follow-up unit, gave a visual presentation to the members of the Shura Council to inform them about the vision, its objectives and the government effort exerted for its success. 

The meeting attended by Khalid Hilal al Maawali, Chairman of Shura Council, Ahmed Mohammed al Nadabi, Secretary-General and a number of Shura members.
 

He explained the most prominent indicators and the foundations for its implementation as well as the roles of follow-up units in all government institutions and their efforts to follow up on the implementation of the vision.

During the presentation, H.E.Dr referred to the plans, objectives and mechanisms for implementing the Oman Vision 2040 in accordance to the national priorities


He also reviewed the indicators and challenges facing the implementation of the vision, starting from the covid-19 pandemic, trade and economic changes and international political fluctuations that cast a shadow on the national economy, pointing to the efforts of the unit in overcoming those challenges.
