The Chairman of the Shura Council received, at his office on Tuesday morning, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan accredited to the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the Chairman welcomed the Ambassador and commended the strong and fraternal relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening and developing these relations across various fields in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the distinguished level of relations between the two countries, noting their positive role in opening broader prospects for joint cooperation. He also expressed his aspiration to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields during the coming period.
