The Shura Council participated represented by H.E Ahmed Mohammed Al-Nadabi, Secretary General of the Council, in the seventeenth meeting of H.E and the Chairman of the Shura Councils and Deputies at the beginning of the meeting through the Chairman of the Shura Councils, Deputies and National duties and the Nation.

 

The meeting discussed the achievement of greater coordination and complementarity between the Gulf legislatures and the work of holding coordination meetings between them in all the international parliamentary forums.

During the meeting, their Excellences reviewed the agenda and appreciated the conclusions and recommendations of the GCC Legislative Councils Symposium and its role in consolidating infra investment and supporting national economies organized by the Consultative Council of the Sultanate of Oman in cooperation with the General Secretariat.

 The meeting addressed the work of the Gulf-European Parliamentary Committee, the Gulf's common themes, and the proposal to establish a committee for cooperation with parliaments of Latin American States.


The results of the meeting of members of the Consultative Councils, MPs, the National Assembly, and the Nation of the GCC countries also reviewed with the head of the Arab Peninsula Relations Delegation in the European Parliament.
