The General Secretariat of the Shura Council organized a training program entitled “Dealing with Artificial Intelligence,” targeting a number of its staff members from various administrative and technical departments. The program was held as part of the Secretariat’s ongoing efforts to enhance human competencies and develop professional capabilities in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

The training program addressed key concepts of artificial intelligence and highlighted its most prominent practical applications, in addition to emphasizing data privacy and responsible use when engaging with AI tools. Participants were also introduced to leading artificial intelligence tools and received hands-on training on their professional use, contributing to the advancement of digital transformation pathways and the effective utilization of modern technologies in daily work processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The program further included a review of selected experiences and best practices in the application of artificial intelligence technologies, providing participants with practical insights into their institutional and operational use.
This training program forms part of a broader series of capacity-building initiatives implemented by the General Secretariat of the Shura Council, underscoring its commitment to keeping pace with rapid technological developments and empowering its staff to employ artificial intelligence tools effectively and responsibly within the workplace. These efforts aim to improve institutional performance quality and support the achievement of organizational development objectives aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
