Chairman Shura received the National College of Defence of Bangladesh delegation

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al-Mawali, Chairman of Majlis A’shura received a delegation from the National College of Defence of Bangladesh, as part of their recent visit to the Sultanate. 
  ​During the meeting, His Excellency Chairman of Majlis A’shura gave a short overview on the tasks and competences of Majlis A’shura at the members and general secretariat level. He talked about the parliamentary tools and duties practiced by the Majlis. He also gave a historical brief of the A` shura history in the Sultanate of Oman starting from the Council of Agriculture and Fisheries in 1973. The members of the delegation expressed their thanks to his Excellency the Chairman for receiving them at the premises of Majlis A’shura . The delegation visited the facilities of Oman council. They visited the plenary hall in which the ministerial and ordinary sittings are held. They were briefed about the state of the art technologies that are being adopted in the Council.
